PCS had the amazing opportunity to go fishing for PCS had the amazing opportunity to go fishing for Ha'limootk / 'Wäh (Oolichan). A big t'oya̱xsut nüüsim goes to Harvey Russel from the Gitwilgyoots Laxsgyiik House and SD52's Indigenous Education Department. PCS had a Luncheon yesterday for all students and their families where they cooked up the 'wäh and served it in addition to some hon (salmon), vegetarian chilli, fruit salad and rice. #RupertSchools

Participants explored several key teachings from her recent book Wayi Wah: Indigenous Pedagoies. We unpacked the nuances of becoming anti-racist educators and furthering our professional growth and understanding in this important area.
