HEALTH & WELLNESS

School District 52 recognizes the important role that mental health and wellness play in education.  It is difficult to learn when a student is socially or emotionally overwhelmed.  It’s been decided that the district and Pam Groves, District Mental Health Literacy Specialist, will be gathering online resources for staff, families and students.  In these challenging times, it is vital to understand the role your thoughts, feelings and behaviours play in your overall well being.  Please check out this post for updates!

Each month, there will be a Health and Wellness Challenge for staff, students and families to participate.

Here is a PowerPoint to learn more about anxiety.  It is important to look after your mental health even when you are feeling good!
